Mathematics
Qifa Primary School
Our Philosophy
At Qifa, Mathematics is more than numbers and formulas. It is about making sense of the world, thinking logically and solving problems with confidence. Our Mathematics learning experiences are designed to support every learner, stretch curious minds and nurture a love for thinking.
1. Building Strong Foundations 🧮
Learning Support for Mathematics (LSM Programme, P1–P4)
The LSM Programme provides targeted support for pupils who need additional guidance in Mathematics. Through small-group instruction and carefully scaffolded lessons, pupils strengthen their understanding of key concepts and develop confidence in applying foundational mathematical skills.

2. Stretching Curious Minds 🔍
E2K Mathematics
E2K Mathematics is an enrichment programme designed for pupils who show strong aptitude and interest in Mathematics. Through engaging math stories, puzzles and challenging problem-solving tasks, pupils are encouraged to think deeply, reason logically and explore multiple solution pathways.
This programme nurtures adaptive thinkers and active learners, empowering pupils to enjoy mathematical thinking and tackle complex problems with confidence.
3. Exploring Mathematics in the Real World 🌍
M in STEM & No Maths Day
These hands-on and minds-on experiences help pupils see how Mathematics connects to everyday life and the wider world.
M in STEM focuses on developing financial literacy through practical activities and real-world applications. Pupils apply their learning in a culminating global challenge that promotes problem-solving, decision-making and global awareness.
No Maths Day brings learning to life through fun, creative and authentic experiences. Pupils explore Mathematics beyond textbooks, discovering how mathematical thinking is used in real-life situations in enjoyable and meaningful ways.
